Applying permanent hair colour will not cause more grey hairs to grow. The colour only affects the hair it comes into contact with, not the hair growing from the root.
The majority of the colours are from the colour line Redken which is an American line. For my bright colours, I use Pulpriot and Joico.
The regular colour line for grey coverage by Redken has a small percentage of ammonia in it. The Ammonia free chromatics line does not. Ammonia free will give you similar grey coverage as the regular line, with more shine as it's gentler on the hair.
After using a lightener, your hair may become dry. But, if you take proper care of your hair before and after the process, you can restore it to about 80% of its original, non-bleached condition.
You should always use a professional line of shampoo and conditioner. It's formulated for coloured hair and has the right properties to keep the hair hydrated after the service.
My recommendation is Redken colour extend shampoo and conditioner.
Whether you have coloured hair or not, you should get a haircut every three months to maintain your hair.
Purple shampoo should only be used once you start to see yellow in your hair. Once you see it, I would recommend using it no more than once or twice a week because it will dry out your hair.
No more than once or twice a week as it will remove the toner from your hair.
After washing out the shampoo, use a leave-in conditioner to soften the hair before detangling it. If possible, wait till your hair is dry to brush it out as the hair is the most fragile when it's wet.
I would recommend a soft change. A brown/caramel balayage is a good choice to try to have some colour in your hair without making a drastic change. It gives you the opportunity to warm up to the idea of having colour in your hair.
On average 4-8 weeks is the normal time between root coverage appointments.
You can use any oil in your hair as long as it is white or clear in colour. An oil like olive oil has a green tint, that will deposit in your hair, leaving different colours in your hair.
Yes. If you have super long/thick hair, there will be a fee of $20+ as it takes longer to style that much hair. Extensions are also an additional fee depending on your hair and the hairstyle you are doing.
I would recommend either a braid or a bun because those hairstyles will last the entire evening. Leaving your long thick hair open may not be the most suitable option as the weight of the hair can cause the curls/waves to fall out.
Please wash your hair the day before and have it roughly blow-dried before your appointment.
DO NOT COME TO YOUR HAIR APPOINTMENT WITH WET HAIR.
During a bridal consultation, the stylist and the bride engage in a conversation to discuss the desired look. The stylist provides professional advice on whether the desired look is workable and suitable for the bride. This consultation lasts around 30 minutes.
A bridal trial is important because sometimes we want a certain look, but we won't know for sure until we see it on ourselves. Doing a trial for an e-shoot or engagement helps you figure out the exact look you want for your big day.
Since every bride is unique, the most accurate way for each bride to determine her specific needs is by scheduling a bridal consultation. Based on the desired looks discussed during the consultation, the stylist will recommend the necessary products to achieve the desired result.
Blouse, jewellery, extensions (if using), and hair accessories.

Please show up by yourself for any hair service. At this time, there is only seating available for the client.
Yes. If you have more hair and it takes longer to cut and style, then it will cost more than the base price.
